OUR TEAM
Oliver C. Win
Founder and Managing Director
When it comes to food and beverage import, trading and distribution in Hong Kong and Macau, there are few individuals as influential as Oliver C. Win. With nearly 40 years of experience in the space, his achievements have made a lasting impact in the region. In 2004, he founded gourmet import and distribution company Olivier Pacific, and developed the company to become a regional leader in Hong Kong and Macau markets representing some of the finest brands. A decade later, he successfully sold the company to a renowned Chinese State-Owned Enterprise in April 2015. Despite the sale, he continued to lead and grow Olivier Pacific as CEO through this transitional period until the completion of his exit duties in 2021.
Over the years, he has represented some of the most exquisite and exclusive brands as sole importer and distributor, and developed their long-standing success within the region. He has supplied some of the worlds most discerning Michelin-starred chefs, hotels, casinos, restaurants and major supermarkets with the finest quality products. A man of discerning taste and a refined palette, he has developed a large network of contacts and industry relationships that span across Asia and the Pacific, as well as the rest of the world.
Prior to starting his own company, he was part of the founding team of Classic Fine Foods from 2000-2002 - a company that has also become one of the leading companies in the region. Using his networks and experiences from his days leading Olivier Hong Kong (LVMH Group) from 1990-2000, he successfully transitioned many of the suppliers, customers and key accounts to CFF and contributed significantly to the future success of the entity. Starting in the industry at SILCO from 1983-1990 where he cut his teeth in the trade, it is fair to say that he has seen and achieved it all.
He was knighted with the “Chevalier l'Ordre du Mérite Agricole” in 2015 by the French Agricultural Minister M. Dominique Bussereau for his services promoting French gastronomy in the region. He is also a Prestigious Professional in the Guilde internationale des Fromagers - Confrérie de Saint-Uguzon, and a member of numerous major associations representing the industry in Hong Kong and Macau.
